Summer Program for children of all ages! Elementary and Early Childhood certified teachers with valuable experiences.
Children may attend the program on a full time or part time basis with extremely reasonable daily rates.
Children will have the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors, have fun with some exciting visitors and field trips, stay active with sports and games, work together with friends on crafts/activities, and keep their precious little minds nurtured by participating in the Mars Area Library Summer Reading Program.
The camp will run with weekly themes filled with exciting activities each day. The summer fun will consist of, but not be limited to:
Let’s take a trip out of this world!! Children will have a blast making water rockets, searching for moon rocks, eating like an astronaut and taking a field trip to the Mars Spaceship.
We’ll kick our summer off to a great start learning and enhancing some soccer skills. A few of our Mars high school and middle school players will join in the fun with Miss Emily and Mr. Brady to show us what a fun sport soccer is to play with our friends.
Leave the bug spray at home! We will learn about rocks, dirt, mud and bugs! Eat some dirt cups, create a web of friends, and go on an insect scavenger hunt.
Miss Emily will be sharing her love of sharks with us! The week will be filled with information about sharks, as well as crafts, snacks and activities all center around one of our world’s most exciting animals!
Kids will elect a classroom president, create a Declaration of Independence, and enjoy some games and a cookout with a watermelon seed spitting contest.
“Hug A Tree Program” presentation, survival challenges to involve making shelters and duct tape cups and scavenger hunts.
Children will be thrilled to learn different dance styles and moves and a dance routine to show off! For those that aren’t dancers, a different sport will be offered each day for the kids to engage in including dodgeball, basketball, kickball, track events.
Have a memorable week hanging with friends at Vacation Bible School! Children 4 and up will participate in Woodland Valley Church’s program. Children 3 and younger will have their own memorable VBS here at our center.
Children will create their own hero identity, take in a Magic Show and participate in fitness activities at the Mars Library. They will be a hero in our community and meet some real life Superheroes!
Children will enjoy activities, crafts, and games to include all of the excitement of the Summer Olympics! Come be prepared to be an Olympian!
As the Summer Olympics goes into its second week, we will continue with the excitement with a week of gymnastics with Miss Kristin and a field trip to Butler Gymnastics.
